*clears throat* OH IT’S THE WEEKEEEEND~! YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS. Oh! It means it’s time for…BOKU WA TOMODACHI GA SUKUNAI NEEEEXT!! ♪＼(*＾▽＾*)／ *coughs*
Ahh yes, so a new episode was uploaded. I feel like I could smack myself. My eyes passed right over the upload earlier today when I was watching Junjou Romantica. That Yaoi has me hooked though, hooked so much that I didn’t even see the upload *sobs* I will have to atone for my sins.
Let me see how best I can summarize the episode:
I think that about sums up the sequence of what was covered in 24:30 minutes. Now to go into some details and my little thoughts.
First up is Rika’s new look! Which both Kodaka and I like very much. Letting down her hair really enhanced her beauty, and so did losing those pair of glasses – which apparently was fake. It’s a good thing Rika realized she didn’t have to make herself into the stereotypical nerd and go for an image change. Nothing was wrong with how she looked before, but she really stands out now. Too bad her perversion hasn’t changed in any way. Then again, that’s what makes Rika…Rika. I laugh at her awfully perverted jokes. Kodaka thought out loud that her looks were right up his strike zone, which inevitably made the other girls jealous.
This Homo Game Club is about some guys who made a fan made game that wasn’t successful at first, but through perseverance, and beating the villain with a puffed out chest they were successful. I couldn’t take this anime seriously. I kept laughing, which contrasted Yozora’s and Sena’s teary eyes throughout the entire movie. It ended with a passionate kiss between the two protagonists which led to Yozora’s bafflement of friends kissing each other – which I found cute. Rika’s impassioned explanation of feelings becoming strong and mutual, leading to eventual affection and intimacy made Yozora understand this concept…and steal a glance at Kodaka.
Then came along Kate Takayama, Maria’s older sister, who Kodaka met while leaving school. Her lack of decorum makes me worried for Maria’s safety. Well, it’s nice that a new character has been introduced, more content will more than likely follow. Seems like Kate is going to be a sort of Rika #2. Maria dislikes her, which is a good thing. At least that makes it clear that she won’t try to emulate Kate in any way. Am I the only one noticing the Sisters of St. Chronica’s being elements of fanservice?
It’s time Sena realized just how perverted her games are – especially if Rika finds it perverted. The title alone should make her feel awkward but after being challenged by Yozora to read the smutty lines from her game outloud, it seems she has and she left the clubroom in tears. It never gets old, especially her wailing.
Being alone with Kodaka, Yozora’s controlling mentality dissipates to an extent. Even her tone of voice softens and she acts more girly around him. They tried to compare answers, which started out odd at first but then got smoother when they transformed it into a type of roleplay dialogue. All that was cut short when Sena interrupted and tried to get Yozora to compare answers with her until she ended up begging.
I have a feeling these two are going to end up being best friends at some point or the other.
